Why this project?

I, Coleman O'Brien, chose to design a house for my senior project because I want to become an architect.  I believe that the skills that I learn in this class will give me a head start before college.  I wanted to become an architect, because it is a job where one has the freedom to be creative.  Essentially for me, this project choice was a test to find out if I really wanted to pursue architecture as a profession, and I have found that I enjoy designing.
